Well hello!
I can’t believe been 5 years since I’ve posted, and so much has happened! Post-pandemic, I took break from dance and teaching to focus on my career as a digital media executive and dancing for my own enjoyment in drop-ins at New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet School and Broadway Dance Center (with my favorite instructors Jessica Epting and Michelle Moreno).
Old and new injuries caught up with me though, and I had to take off to focus on physical therapy for nearly two years. At long last, thanks to the world-class dance rehabilitation experts at Harkness Center for Dance Injuries I returned this summer just in time to head to American Ballet Theatre for my Levels 4 & 5 teaching certification.
Now that I’m back in action, I’m pleased share that I’ll be teaching a few adult classes as a guest and sub at Broadway Dance Center. If you’ll be in NYC this winter and drop-in for a class, be sure to say hi!
These classes will be available for booking shortly on the BDC drop-in calendar! I’ll also post all my winter classes here and any edits as they occur!

I’d love to introduce you guys today to a youtube channel called

A number of students and colleagues of mine have recently decided to open their own studios. This was never my goal – I love the freedom of teaching without worrying about the hassle of owning a building or harassing parents for their tuition payments – but if your goal is to own your own studio one day, one of the biggest concerns will be how to build it properly.
The
It is all too rare for an experienced professional dancer to provide career guidance to students. The average professional dancer’s hectic schedule, necessity to focus on oneself, or lack of interest in reaching out to aspiring professionals in order to stave off competition all may play a part in that. Even from those who share their knowledge through teaching, there is typically a lack of basic insight on the professional ballet experience that is provided to their students.
