About BalletScoop

As a young dancer in a small town, the author didn’t have access to a whole lot of information on dance, let alone ballet. She had to work mighty hard to find information on important stuff like what to expect at auditions, how to find good college programs, what kind of gear was available and little stuff like where to find leotards for her long torso.  She dedicates this blog to hungry young dancers everywhere who need the real scoop on ballet!

(If you are a male student, parent of a young child student or an adult beginner, etc, check out the BlogRoll at left for great ballet blogs that cater to other demographics that might interest you.)
